    Welcome to the world of the CAA film review!

    You have some interesting insights here, and you have included some quotes, so that is a promising start :)
    As a matter of style, it is generally a good idea to space your quotes out throughout the review, rather than using them all in the first paragraph - the whole point of using them, is to support your own discussion, so for example, you could have expanded your research into German Expressionism, and made that a separate paragraph, using the quote by Dillard as supporting evidence. For the same reason, it is good to place your images within the text, so that they can be referred to at the appropriate point, rather than having to scroll to the end of the piece to refer to them.
