I think for 1 and 2 I get a definite sense that you're younger here (as you are in some parts of the story?), and the face of 2 makes you look more relatable and emotive than the ones with just the eyes, or just the eyes and mouth? That being said, if you're going more abstract, 4 makes sense? 2 and 3, I get the sense they are drawn by you, and are more whimsical/nostalgic? I don't know if what I'm saying exactly makes sense, so I'm sorry! They all have great potential. I feel the definite plait will also come from whether you're going more abstract or not- I like c,d and e, but d might be too detailed? On the other extreme, F and A are more abstract, but I can read them as plaits! :) Just a few thoughts! Take away whatever- it all looks great!
